   [FONT=Times New Roman]I have installed IGI1 in my system with VIA P4M266/P4M533 Chipset motherboard with S3 Graphics ProSavage DDR . The game loads but fails and reads a message as follows
   Could?nt create surface
   DirectX error DDERR ? INVALIDPARAM5
   The game did not have any problem running in other system.
   Could anyone Help?
   
   My system configuration is:
   1. Intel Pantium 4
   2. 256 MB RAM
   3. 40 GB Hard Disk
   4. DirecX 9.0c
   5. OS Windows 98 2nd edition and Windows XP[/FONT]

   Long shot, but does your graphics card have dual monitor support (i.e a Primary and Secondary display) ? You should be able to find out from right clicking the desktop, choosing the Settings tab and seeing what the Display header says ...
   
   You could also try searching the web with the EXACT error message ...
