   I really enjoyed reading this because I remember playing A LOT of these games (mostly Pathways and Marathon Series) - this was the "big" thing when I was growing up.

   For those of you that only know them for Halo, id advise that when your board, you at least check out marathon....of course I dont think it was ever ported to the PC, so if you have a mac (unlikly) grab a $5 buck copy of it.
   
   And if any of you have ever played any of their early games post which one(s). :)

   much better than that "halo" crap everyone plays these days.
