I do hope you have been making the best of your time, nephalem, because the sands in your hourglass have run out. The time has come for my master to sweep clean the streets of Westmarch, and your feeble efforts will mean little against our inevitable tide.
Today marks the arrival of Reaper of Souls™, and though there is much to explore and possibly aid you on your futile quest, I expect you to achieve little more than a swift and painful demise.

Taking on Death itself requires more than flashy spells, endless ammunition, and brute strength.

(Re)Introducing, The Mystic:
In Reaper of Souls, you'll have the opportunity to join forces with a new and powerful ally: Myriam Jahzia, the Mystic.
One of the big suggestions we've received from the community is to give players the ability to roam freely across all waypoints once they're unlocked. That freedom is very appealing, and we're already looking into ways we can make this particular wish happen. In the meantime, though, the topic has a lot potential for some great discussion. And that's why this week's Community Commentary shout-out goes to kolchin04 for asking the /r/Diablo community:
If you could waypoint anywhere in the game, across Acts, what would your run be?
When we initially designed and implemented the auction houses, the driving goal was to provide a convenient and secure system for trades. But as we've mentioned on different occasions, it became increasingly clear that despite the benefits of the AH system and the fact that many players around the world use it, it ultimately undermines Diablo's core game play: kill monsters to get cool loot. With that in mind, we want to let everyone know that we've decided to remove the gold and real-money auction house system from Diablo III.
We feel that this move along with the Loot 2.
